French male ready to pay wife’s compensations over ‘lack of sex’
Published by Julia Volkovah under article 215 of France’s civil code, lack of sex on 10:38 AMA Frenchman has been prepared to compensate his former wife £8,500 in damages for failing to have sufficient sex with her during their wedding.
The 51-year-old person was fined under article 215 of France’s civil code, which conditioned married couples must consent to a “shared mutual life”.
A judge has now verdict that this law means that “sexual relations must form component of a marriage”.
The unusual permissible verdict came after the wife filed a case for divorce two years ago, accusing the break-up on her husband’s not have of movement in the bedroom.
A judge in Nice, southern France, then approved the divorce and verdict the husband named only as Jean-Louis B. was exclusively responsible for the split.
But the 47-year-old ex-wife then procured him back to court demanding 10,000 Euros in damages for “lack of sex over 21 years of marriage”.
The former-husband said “fatigue and health troubles” had disallowed him from being more caring between the sheets.
But a judge in the south of France’s Supreme Court in Aix-en-Provence ruled: “A sexual relationship between husband and wife is the expression of love they have for each other, and in this case it was not present.
“By getting married, couples consent to sharing their life and this obviously involves they will have sex with each other.”
