Barack Obama’s Joke: David Cameron will teach me Cricket’s rules

Barack Obama gagged last night that David Cameron would coach him the cricket’s rules in return for a visit to a university basketball match in Ohio on the first evening of the Prime Minister's formal tour to the US.

Mr. Cameron became the first overseas leader during the Obama presidency to visit on board Air Force One, the authorized Presidential airplane, a privilege that British officials said was planned as a deliberate “flattering remark” to the British PM.

Mr. Cameron is unstated to have used up hours swotting up on the greater points of basketball for the university fixture between Mississippi Valley State and Western Kentucky.
His advisers say he has been recklessly learning about “bracketology”, an American fascination endeavoring to forecast who will succeed basketball matches.

In a mutual interview at half-time, the Prime Minister acknowledged that he was fighting the follow the rapid moving game. "It's pretty swift and livid. It's tough to chase sometimes accurately who's done what off beam," he said, adding that the President was assisting to keep up with action and to complete his brackets sheet.

A smiling Mr Obama answered: "He's going to educate me cricket because I don't realize what's going on with that."

Mr. Cameron also utilized the countrywide televised interview to advertise the London Olympics, promising that Britain would be "rolling out the red carpet for the entire world".

"All is on time and on budget, all the stadia are made and everything's ready to go. We're just prepared to welcome a numbers of people to London," he said.

Both were met with loud applauds from an energetic crowd as they entered the arena. Mr. Cameron, wearing a dark-colored polo shirt, sat next to Mr. Obama who also looked relaxed in a checked shirt.

The two engaged in vibrant talks, seemingly about the player’s skills. At times, Mr. Obama also emerged to be clearing up features of the game to Mr. Cameron as they sat huddled next to each other.

They had toured jointly to the city of Dayton on the one-hour flight which the both leaders spent wholly in the president’s on-board office discussing according to White House assistants.
