UK Phone hacking scandal - Rebekah Brooks captured by the Police

The 43-year-old was held by appointment by Operation Weeting police at a London police station. Met Police said she is presently still in under arrest.
This is the 10th capture made by police prosecuting hacking accusation by the News of the World newspaper.
She was detained on doubt of planning to cut off communications and on distrust of corruption charges.
The Operation Weeting team is conducting the latest inquiry into phone hacking.
Officers from Operation Elveden were also engaged with the detention. They are prosecuting charges of wrong payments to police, an investigation which is being observed by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
According to BBC business editor News International was not attentive that Mrs. Brooks would be detained when her resignation was being argued at the company on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week.
She resigned on Friday.
