UK Guy contaminates Girlfriend with Herpes

A report has revealed, a 28-year-old British person, David Golding was given a 14-month jail punishment last week for not telling his girlfriend about his sexual fitness status as he gave her genital herpes.

Also, Golding rejecting having the infection, when his then girlfriend, 24-year-old Cara Scott was diagnosed with it right after their relationship started in 2009, he told her right away before their brake up in 2010.

Sexual health specialists have warned the decision to imprison Golding for giving his friend genital herpes as sexual health expert, Dr. Colm O'Mahony said: "Being sent to jail for transmission herpes simplex is like being sent down for 10 years for a parking offence. I'm shocked, and there is no choice of showing who gave herpes to whom and with numbers of the population already mistakenly infected”.

Though, the virus which basis genital herpes is able to lead to an epidemic or stay sleeping for years, during when it is not catching and most people are ignorant of their herpes status.

In addition, the Judge Michael Fowler stated: "The wound he caused Cara by this infection is at more grave than an injury leaving a scar, because it carries constant repetition, intense anxiety and costs for relationships she will have in the future".
