Rowan Atkinson “Mr. Bean Star” wounded in McLaren F1 supercar crash

The Blackadder and Mr. Bean star is considered to have lost manage of the £650,000 Car which spun off the road and punched a tree before catching fire.
The 56-year-old moved away from the ruins and was seemed after by a new motorist until emergency services here at the scene.
An ambulance got him to Peterborough District Hospital, Cambridgeshire, where he is suffering from a slightest shoulder injury, it was said.
The Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service’s spokeswoman said: “Squads brought the fire under control by 8.13pm. They made the car secure and utilized one hose reel to put out the fire.
“There was one victim but he was not trapped.”
Mr. Atkinson is renowned for his love of fast cars and currently recorded the highest lap time in Top Gear’s Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
He told TV anchor Jeremy Clarkson he was enthusiastic on racing and was recently driving a 1964 Ford Falkan.
But his racing proficiency did slight to suppress his nerves before taking on the competition, he acknowledged.
In a snip of the show, uploaded on to YouTube by the BBC on July 22, Atkinson said people would “guess that in the sensibly priced car I will be very fine when there's completely no guarantee of that at all”.
But the Blackadder actor notched up the highest ever time on the show, finishing the circuit in 1 minute 42.2 seconds.
The crash yesterday occurred on the A605 in Haddon at 7.30pm and no other vehicle was concerned.
The McLaren F1 is one of the fastest manufacture cars in the World and has a highest speed of 230mph. Mr. Atkinson is likely to be released from hospital shortly today.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokeswoman said yesterday: “There has been a single vehicle road traffic collision near Haddon.”
