New Braunfels man accused of child assault
NEW BRAUNFELS — A 30-year-old New Braunfels man is scheduled togo to trial next month for the alleged sexual assault years ago ofa Louisiana girl who was just 12 years old when she told NewBraunfels authorities what he did to her, according to a citypolice spokesman and court documents.
Michael Dwain Bonnette is charged locally with aggravated sexualassault of a child younger than 14 years old on or about April 30,2006, according to a Comal County indictment. The indictment saidBonnette had sex with the girl.
