Rest in Peace Sheriff Elsbury.
My condolences to your family.
A funeral for Blanco County Sheriff Bill Elsbury, a veteran peace officer who died of a heart attack Monday, has been set for Thursday in Johnson City.
Elsbury, 60, had just come inside after tending to his cows in a pasture at his Johnson City home on the Pedernales River when his wife, Debby, heard a loud “thud,” she said.
Debby Elsbury said she ran to the front of the house and found her husband, a veteran peace officer, on the floor. As she waited for EMS, she initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation, she said.
My condolences to your family.
