A former employee of the Housing Authority of Bexar County pleaded guilty Monday to stealing $1,300 from the agency and was sentenced to three years of supervised probation.
Sarah Renee Herrera, 39, entered the plea to theft of United States property, a federal misdemeanor.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Nowak also fined Herrera $250 and ordered her to pay restitution and to serve 40 hours of community service.
