Avalanche kills two mountaineers on Ortles, Italy

An avalanche of ice and snow ran down the 'Gurgel' tract, at an altitude of about 2800 metres, above the mountain refuge 'Tabaretta'. The two mountaineers were part of a group and were run over and dragged down below. A man and a woman, both foreign, were also part of the same group. . . Source
