6.4 Magnitude Earthquake NEAR THE EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN - 27th Mar 2012

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has struck near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the quake hit at 11:00:45 UTC Tuesday 27th March 2012
The epicenter was 38 km (23.6 miles) Northeast from Miyako, Honshu, Japan
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time

Note: This earthquake has just hit Near the east coast of Honshu and the details have come through from the Japanese Meteorological Agency. USGS is yet to list this earthquake, hence the red location square not showing yet.

Update 07:24: USGS has just listed this earthquake as a 6.0 Magnitude,
the Japanese Meteorological Agency have not downgraded this earthquake and it remains with measurement of 6.4 Magnitude.
