If you throw the most perfect game in the not-yet released video game MLB2k12, you could win a million dollars.

And if you’re Tigers right-hander Justin Verlander, the game’s cover boy, you’re more likely to throw the most perfect game and win a million dollars.

Because then you’d be Justin Verlander, of course, and you’d do things like throw most perfect games.

But even the reigning American League Cy Young and MVP winner needs a tune-up here and there.

Enter 2012 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover girl Kate Upton.

Upton, not related to B.J. of the Rays or Justin of the Diamondbacks, both of whom Verlander has struck out before, made an appearance in one of MLB2k12’s trailers to give Verlander, Tampa Bay’s David Price, Los Angeles’ C.J. Wilson and Cincinnati’s Jay Bruce pointers on how to throw a circle changeup.

So if you’re interested in how to throw a circle changeup in MLB2k12, watch it, over and over and over again, like we have.

Because we’d really like to win a million dollars. And Kate Upton.
