Alzheimer's center adjusts program for baby boomers

Recently, inside a building on the Northeast Side, '80s singer Sheena Easton sang about her baby taking the morning train as a dozen seniors, one by one, rolled toy bowling balls at plastic pins set up feet away.

Near the entrance, '60s teen idol Gary Puckett crooned about wanting a young girl out of his life as a dozen people batted a large balloon back and forth over a volleyball net.

Then they played trivia games, flush with questions that echoed the years when they served society in a variety of roles. They were the fabric that held lives together as policemen, nurses, homemakers, sculptors, veterans and physicians.
