So why, exactly is she smiling?
San Antonio police Sunday night arrested a woman in a capital murder case in the West Side earlier this month.
Sandra Rivera, 32, “confessed to killing the complainant,” Armando Alvarez, by stabbing him in the 400 block of Pace Street, San Antonio police Sgt. David Pruitt said. She was charged with one count of capital murder-other felony and bond was set at $750,000.
Dead and covered in blood, Alvarez, 40, was discovered Nov. 3 when a woman saw his body behind her home. An incident report states blood was splattered around Alvarez, and police said another neighbor reported hearing a commotion and what sounded like someone gasping for air around 2 a.m. on Nov. 2.
